About Hayward

There are several 9-hole and 18-hole golf courses, great shopping, and many other attractions in and around the town of Hayward, which is just a short drive away. Hayward hosts several fun events throughout the year including the World Lumberjack Championships, Musky Festival, Fat Tire Race, American Birkebiner X-Country Ski Race, September Festival, several fishing tournaments, and much more. Hayward is also the home of several attractions including the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame.
