Golden Fawn Lodge is nestled in a small, quiet cove overlooking a beautiful, protected bay on the East side of The Chippewa Flowage near Hayward, Wisconsin. Surrounded by a forest of tall majestic pines, sturdy oak, graceful birch, and colorful maple trees. Soak up some sun, or sit around the campfire in the evening roasting marshmallows, and admiring the reflection of the moon on the still waters of the bay.

We utilize a private boat ramp run by Fawn Cove Condominiums and supply a private dock slip for each of our cabins on a private bay.  A stroll along the hiking trails is always a pleasure, and the “BIG CHIP” not only offers some of the best walleye, crappie and pan fishing, but also the always exciting challenge of the elusive and mighty musky. The many islands dotting the bay add to the wilderness atmosphere and also offer some lovely picnic spots.

Chippewa Flowage is home to many fish species including Musky, Walleye, Crappie, Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth bass, Perch, as well as a variety of other panfish. It is also home to a lot of wildlife including Whitetail deer, Black Bear, Otters, Fox, Coyote, Fisher, Mink, Raccoons,  Red/Gray Squirrels, chipmunk, Rabbits, Porcupines, Bald Eagles, Loons, Ruffed Grouse, and a variety of duck species. 

Pine Point Cabin is only available during open fishing season from May through October. It offers single bedroom cabin with pull out living room sofas to sleep 4,  a lake view, private dock slip, private campfire ring, outdoor grill, full kitchen and bathroom as well as 2 TV’s and WIFI internet access.

Slivers Point Cabin is currently booked for the season of 2024. 

5.5% State Sales and 4% Room Tax is added to all cabin rental fees.
